TenneT biggest Dutch newcomer on GP Top 25


The GreenPrices Top 25 list of large users of green power has changed. From the 3 new companies that could have been added to the list, the Dutch power transport system operator TenneT takes first place on the Dutch list and fifth place on the international list with a green power use of 425 MWh per year. The biggest user in the international Top 25 is still the Austrian Federal Railways – ÖBB, with a use of 1,536 MWh per year.  

The French newcomer Société Général is number 20 on the international list with a use of 55 MWh per year and the Dutch Johnson & Johnson is number 6 on the international list and second in the Netherlands only version. The use of green power by Rabobank and Dutch Railways has increased. The use of green power by Rabobank has increased by 68%, from 45 MWh per year in May 2005 to 168 MWh per year now. Dutch Railways has shown an increase of 10 %, from 70 MWh up to 77 MWh.
