Dutch Minister: ‘No new support for renewables until Mid-2008’
This week Dutch Minister of Economic Affairs Maria van der Hoeven announced that a new support system for power from renewable sources will not be established earlier than June 2008. The former support system, a feed-in premium (‘MEP’) on top of the normal power price, was abolished in August last year.

In reaction the Dutch Parliament organised a debate with the responsible Ministers. This debate will be on April 24.
