Emissions trading scheme revised
In the period 2012-2020 the Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS) will aim to achieve an emissions reduction of 21% in 2020 (compared to 2005). The scheme will be streamlined and harmonised into one system. Read more
Norway again wants to link to Swedish certificate market
The Norwegian Government reached an agreement on climate policies to become carbon neutral in 2030 instead of the previous target date 2050. Negotiations with Sweden to link the green energy certificates markets in both countries will be re-opened. Read more
