Top official: “No parallel trading system for renewables before 2020”

The European Commission does not consider introducing any trading system for renewables before 2020. “In 2020 we want only one scheme: the Emissions Trading Scheme,” Dr Matthias Ruete, Director General for Energy and Transport (TREN), announced yesterday.
