Goal
 GreenPrices aims at the promotion of renewable energy.
This site contributes to this aim by giving information on the supply of green energy in Europe.
Definitions
By green energy we mean energy produced from renewable energy sources bought by energy users.
Green energy can be composed of energy from several renewable energy sources.
With renewable energy is meant: wind energy, active solar thermal and photovoltaic solar energy, energy from biomass and the biomass fraction of waste, hydropower, tidal energy and the surroundings heat part of heat pumps.
Information sources
The editors use public information or information obtained with the consent of the supplier.
The editors will exercise due caution with personal and address information.
