Policy on renewable energy in Sweden

Sweden has taxes both on electricity production and use of electricity. The tax imposed on electricity consumption amounts to 16.5 �re /kWh. Certain industries, such as the manufacturing industy, are excempted from this tax.

The taxes on production are presented in table 1.
